Centre for Advanced Research Information Network and Guidance serves as a registered resource and coordinating center for those agencies interested in undertaking health and social science research projects using a scientific, systematic, and evidence-based approach. Our experts are pioneers in undertaking both qualitative and quantitative research. We undertake both independent and collaborative studies at the community level, aimed at the generation of high-quality evidence using scientific methodology. Specific areas of expertise are:

We undertake cross-sectional surveys, state, and national levels. Design sophisticated surveys according to the needs of the agency, organize and conduct data collection, and prepare research reports for the funding agencies.

Ongoing Program evaluation is one of our key areas of expertise; our experts have collaborated with many leading research agencies in national-level program evaluations. Evaluation of the process of implementation of the program by an external agency will improve the overall execution of the program by timely and appropriate modifications if needed. 

Qualitative research, with emphasis on social science data collection techniques, takes a holistic view of the problem or phenomenon gaining, in-depth insights from various stakeholders. Recognizing the varied uses of the Qualitative approach in health research, from defining variables to understanding reasons for problem behaviors, this approach is increasingly being used in health research. We have ample experience in designing and conducting qualitative studies.

Social Audit is a process in which the details of resources used by public agencies are shared with the people. It is an audit conducted by civil society, especially those who are affected by or are the intended beneficiaries of the scheme, facilitated by the Government. It will promote transparency and accountability in the implementation of the program. We support agencies in doing social audits.
